Denise Seidelman is a partner in Rumbold & Seidelman. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Washington College of Law. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1980 and is also a member of the New Jersey Bar. Denise is admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Denise is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is a regular speaker at the Adoptive Parents Committee annual conference and has also lectured on behalf of the New York State Bar Association on the legal aspects of the adoption process. Denise is a contributor to the American Fertility Association newsletter on adoption related issues. In addition to her law practice, Denise serves as a mediator in the areas of Child Permanency Mediation, Parent/Child Mediation and Community Mediation. As noted above, Denise frequently co-mediates with her law partner Nina Rumbold.

Denise began her legal career as a trial attorney for the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society where she tried numerous cases to verdict before leaving in 1985. From 1986 until 1995 she was the Senior Hearing Officer for the Transit Adjudication Bureau and from 1993 continuing until 2003 she served as a Hearing Officer for the New York State Department of Agriculture.
